Each family portrait session is an opportunity to capture the essence of your family. These sessions are perfect for group family photos, offering a chance to preserve moments with your loved ones. It’s also an ideal time to focus on the children, creating portraits that capture their unique personalities and the joy they bring to your life.

Family Photography Pricing $300/hr

For family photography my rate is $300/hr with a minimum booking of 2 hours. This pricing applies to locations within an hour’s drive from Sonoma, California, making it convenient for families in Sonoma, Napa, and Marin counties.

After our session, all captured moments will be available for download in an online gallery. The images will be optimized for mobile devices and online sharing. If you desire full-resolution images or are interested in large format prints, these will be available for purchase after the event for an additional fee. My Process to Create Your Family Photos

As your dedicated family photographer, I take pride in offering a quality focused, personalized service from start to finish. The following is my process for delivering photos like you’ll find on this page:

Booking & Deposit: To book a family portrait session with me, full payment is required in advance. This amount serves as a non-refundable deposit, guaranteeing your session date in my schedule.
The Photoshoot: I personally conduct all family photography sessions, ensuring that each moment is captured with care and attention. My policy is not to delegate these precious moments to other photographers.
Editing Process: Every image from your family session undergoes detailed editing. I fine-tune aspects such as exposure, contrast, and color balance to bring out the best in each photograph.
Gallery Access: After editing, your family portraits will be available for download in an online gallery. Here, you can easily view and download all of the images from our session in a web optimized jpeg format consistent with the quality of the images you see on this website.
Additional Options: If you’re interested in more detailed edits, like retouching or specific photo enhancements, or if you wish to purchase high-resolution files and premium prints, these services are available. You can find these additional options in my price menu.

Mommy and Me: Focused on the special bond between mother and children, these sessions can be enhanced with coordinated outfits, creating visually stunning and emotionally touching images.
Family Portraits: Essential for capturing the essence of your immediate family, these sessions are perfect for families with children.
Family Reunion Photos: Reunions provide the perfect opportunity to photograph both immediate and extended family members, capturing the joy of being together.

My goal is to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable photography experience, ensuring that each photo reflects the unique spirit of your family.

Editing Your Family Portraits

In order to provide you with the best images possible, all photos from your event will undergo a process known as global editing. This process adjusts elements such as exposure, white balance, and black point, ensuring each image captures the atmosphere perfectly. Please note, these global edits are the standard adjustments made to all the photos that will be delivered to you.

Beyond Standard Edits: Additional Photo Editing Services

While global edits enhance your images considerably, you may want additional pixel-based edits like object removal, blemish removal or teeth whitening. These detailed edits are included with each large format print you purchase or can be arranged for an additional fee.
