My Process For Capturing Your Event

  1. Booking & Payment: To reserve your event date with me, the full coverage amount must be paid upfront. This payment acts as a non-refundable deposit, ensuring that your special day is locked in on my calendar.
  2. The Photo Shoot: Every event is captured personally be me, Jason Guy, and is never outsourced to associate photographers.
  3. Precision Editing: Each photo undergoes a global editing process, adjusting elements like exposure, black point, highlights, and more to showcase the images at their best.
  4. Easy Access Online Gallery: Once edited, all images are promptly made available in an online gallery, ready for you and your attendees to view and download.

    Event Photography FAQ

    How Much Does Event Photography Cost?

    For candid event coverage, I charge $300/hr with a minimum commitment of 2 hours. This rate is valid for events located within an hour’s drive from Sonoma, California. Events outside this radius incur an additional travel fee of $100 per hour, covering both the journey to and from the venue. To receive a precise quote, please reach out and provide details like the event’s date, location, and purpose.

    How Long Will it Take To Get My Photos?

    My goal is to have your gallery delivered within 48 hours after the event. I know how important it is to relive those moments while they’re still fresh, so I prioritize a fast turnaround without compromising on quality.

    Will My Photos Be Edited?

    Yes. To give you the best images possible, all photos from your event will go through a process called global editing. This includes adjustments to exposure, white balance, black point, and other essential elements to make sure each image reflects the atmosphere of your event. These global edits are the standard enhancements applied to every photo you’ll receive.

    While global edits enhance your images considerably, you may want additional pixel-based edits like object removal, blemish removal or teeth whitening. These detailed edits are not included in the standard service but can be arranged for an additional fee.

    How Will My Pictures Be Delivered?

    Your photos will be delivered as JPEGs via a Google Drive link. All images are optimized for web and mobile viewing at 2000px on the longest side, in the sRGB color space. If you’d like high res files or large format prints, those can be purchased after your event at the prices listed here.
