Sonoma County Portrait Photographer | Jason Guy

My name is Jason Guy and I am a Sonoma County portrait photographer. I create portraits for people of all ages with the goal of making images that are timeless. I want to create portraits you’ll look back on decades from now, and still love them just as much then as you do today. While flattering lighting and pose are important, capturing how others see you is what I ultimately strive for.

Services:

Portrait Photographer

Portrait Photographer Sonoma County

As a portrait photographer, I am passionate about capturing timeless legacy portraits that showcase you at your best. To achieve this I will help guide you towards flattering poses and precise lighting. While striving for technical perfection is important to me, I also believe that capturing your unique personality in your photos is also salient.

All of my portrait sessions are captured on location at no additional charge anywhere within Sonoma County. You can learn more about my studio portraits on location here. If your location doesn’t have the space for studio style portraits, I can also capture environmental portraits for you. This means the natural indoor or outdoor location will serve as the background for your photos. Alternatively I can also capture your portraits at a local park or downtown depending on wheather you prefer an urban or rural background.

If you’d like to learn more about my portrait process, you can check out my portrait photoshoot overview here. If you have any questions about a portrait photoshoot with me, you can check out my portrait FAQ here or get in touch after reviewing my price menu.

Headshot Photographer

In addition to portrait photography, I’m also a Sonoma County headshot photographer. Headshots are all about connecting with your clients and leads non-verbally via your online profile photo. With so much business and lead generation happening online these days, having an eye catching headshot is a crucial part of leveraging your online presence.

All of my headshots are captured on location (I come to you) and you can choose from either studio style or environmental style backgrounds. If you’d like to learn more about my headshot photography, you can get more info and pricing here.

Newborn Photos

The newborn phase will be a fleeting moment of your child’s life. Since this stage will be over before you know it, I’d love to help you document the beginning of your baby’s life with quality newborn portraits.

The best time to capture newborn photos is anytime within the first 2 weeks of life. The sooner you capture your baby the more naturally we will be able to pose them like they were in the womb.

All of my newborn sessions take place at your home. This means that by building a mini studio at your house you won’t have to go anywhere to get premium quality newborn photos of your baby.

Engagement Photos

Engagement photos are not only great for save the date initiations, they’re also great practice if you’re worried about looking awkward in your wedding photos.

Couples photos are usually captured about 8-12 months before your wedding. Thus, make sure and allow enough time to have your photos captured and edited so you can have them in time to create your invites and wedding website.

Also note that if you’re going to hold your ceremony in or around Sonoma County, I waive the engagement photoshoot booking fee for couples who also hire me for a full days worth of wedding coverage.

Sonoma County Bridal Boudoir Photographer

If you want to give your husband the ultimate wedding gift on your wedding day it’s pretty hard to beat a hand crafted boudoir album featuring you!

Truth be told, I’m actually much better known for my work as boudoir photographer rather than for my work as a wedding photographer.

Nevertheless, if you book me for a full days worth of wedding coverage, I”ll waive your bridal boudoir booking fee in addition to your couples engagement photoshoot booking fee if you’d like to do both. You just pay for the pictures you want from each session and that’s it!
